MS60 Separator – magnetic coolant separator with magnetic drum

MS60 Separator is a robust industrial unit for cleaning coolant of ferromagnetic contaminants (e.g. fine metal chips). Thanks to a strong magnetic drum, it separates swarf effectively while maintaining a high degree of filtration.

The separator can work both on a single machine tooland as part of a central filtration system.

Operating principle

The separator is equipped with a rotating magnetic drum made of stainless steel, containing strong neodymium magnets.
Coolant contaminated with swarf flows from the machine tool onto the drum surface. As it flows through the separator, metal particles are held on the drum surface and the cleaned coolant flows into the tank.

Scrapers effectively remove sludge from the drum, ensuring continuous and stable operation of the system.

The filtration cycle repeats in a closed loop – coolant is drawn from the tank and returned to the machine by the pump.
