Fleece coolant separator PS60 – precise filtration of process fluid

PS60 is a reliable unit for filtering coolant from non-magnetic contaminants such as abrasive particles, ceramic dust and fine sludge from grinding cemented carbides and non-ferrous metals. Thanks to a special filter fleece, it ensures a high level of cleaning of the process fluid, which translates into longer tool life and a more stable machining process.

The separator can work on its own or in tandem with a magnetic separator (e.g. MS60), forming a complete filtration system.

Operating principle

Contaminated coolant flows by gravity onto the surface of the filter fleece. Contaminants settle on the surface of the material, forming a so-called "secondary filter" that increases particle retention efficiency.

When the coolant rises to a set level, the float sensor triggers advancing of the used fleece. a new section of fleece is automatically advanced, and the cleaned coolant flows into the tank and is then returned to the machine by the pump.
