We offer professional sharpening of planer and band knives made of HSS, HSS-Co and cemented carbide (HM) materials.
We grind knives for band planers, thicknessers, four-sided planers and hand-held machine planers – quickly, precisely and at competitive prices.

What do we sharpen?

• Planer knives of standard thickness (approx. 3 mm) and larger.

• System knives: Tersa, Centrofix, Centrolock, Enshin, Sinus, Variplan, Terminus (can be sharpened 1-2 times if condition allows).

• Disposable knives – if there are no cracks and only minor wear, we can also sharpen them.

• Knives from manufacturers: Scheppach, Bernardo, Metabo, Holzmann, Bosch, Dewalt, Makita, Elektra Beckum, Magnet, Brück and many others.

What does the sharpening process look like at GRAFS?

1. Dismantling the knife from the machine – unscrew the mounting screws alternately to avoid stressing the blade.

2. Preparing your order – you choose the material, knife length and number of pieces in our store.

3. Knife shipping – attach a note to the package with your order number and address so that we can quickly assign the tools.

4. Professional grinding – we sharpen our knives on precision industrial grinders with cooling to avoid overheating the edges.

5. Quality control – equalizing the height and weight of the knives, removing burrs and ensuring perfect sharpness along the entire length.

6. Tool Returns – Once the work is completed and payment is received, we ship the knives back. Standard turnaround time, including shipping, is 2–3 days.
