MS60 Separator – magnetic coolant separator with magnetic drum

The MS60 Separator is a robust, industrial device for removing ferromagnetic contaminants (e.g., small metal chips) from coolant. Thanks to its powerful magnetic drum, it effectively separates the material while maintaining a high degree of filtration.

The separator can operate both on a single machine tool and be part of a central filtration system .

Principle of operation

The separator is equipped with a rotating magnetic drum made of stainless steel, with strong neodymium magnets inside.
Coolant contaminated with the excavated material flows from the machine tool onto the drum surface. As it flows through the separator, the metal particles are retained on the drum surface, and the cleaned coolant flows into the reservoir.

The scrapers effectively remove sediment from the drum, ensuring continuous and stable operation of the system.

The filtration cycle repeats in a closed circuit – the coolant is drawn from the tank and returned to the machine via a pump.
