Knives for vacuum blister packaging
Materials used in vacuum packaging, thermoforming, and blister packaging are among the most demanding in terms of the cutting process. Vacuum films are even 3-4 times thicker than standard shrink films, and rigid thermoformed structures and blisters require precisely selected blade geometry, appropriate steel hardness, and a stable tooth profile.
At GRAFS, we design and produce machine knives for packaging that ensure clean, repeatable, and controlled cutting even in the most demanding applications. Each knife is individually selected based on the type of packaging material, line speed, machine type, and expected durability.
Our offer includes both OEM knives and custom-made knives, including:
-
serrated and perforating knives
-
EZ-open knives
-
cross-cut knives
-
circular knives and slitters
-
slitters with notches
-
punches and dies (air punches, Euro punches)
-
piercing and shaped knives
For applications with increased wear, we offer the selection of advanced materials and coatings (e.g., increased abrasion resistance, non-stick properties), which extends knife life and reduces the unit cost of cutting.
